Depending on what implant procedure a patient is receiving, it may be performed under I.V. Sedation or a combination of local anesthesia and moderate I.V. Sedation. Additionally, our doctor will prescribe medications to make the healing process more tolerable. These medications are to be taken as needed. Many patients are fine with a combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen.
